Do not use HomoeoRx to assess, manage, or delay care for an emergency. Contact local emergency services or seek urgent in-person medical care immediately where emergency symptoms or serious deterioration may be present.
Urgent warning signs include, but are not limited to:
- Chest pain or possible heart-attack symptoms.
- Breathing difficulty or severe respiratory distress.
- Unconsciousness, confusion, seizure, or inability to wake.
- Severe bleeding or major injury.
- Stroke symptoms such as facial weakness, arm weakness, or speech difficulty.
- Suicidal thoughts, self-harm risk, or an immediate mental-health crisis.
- Severe allergic reaction, swelling, or anaphylaxis symptoms.
- Pregnancy emergency, severe pain, heavy bleeding, or reduced fetal movement.
- Any child emergency, rapid deterioration, or serious concern about an infant or child.
2. AI output can be wrong
AI-generated explanations, extracted symptoms, suggested questions, rankings, comparisons, repertorial context, or other output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for the individual situation. Output must be independently reviewed and must never be followed blindly.
3. No replacement for licensed care
HomoeoRx does not replace clinical examination, diagnosis, laboratory or imaging review, professional judgment, emergency care, licensed medical care, or referral to an appropriate healthcare professional. Information on the platform is not a guarantee that a remedy, approach, or course of action is safe, effective, or suitable.
4. Practitioner responsibility
Qualified practitioners remain responsible for obtaining history, examining the patient, considering differential diagnoses, identifying red flags, obtaining consent, maintaining records, selecting any remedy, determining prescription, potency, dose and repetition, monitoring progress, and arranging conventional, specialist, or emergency referral when appropriate.
